Natalya Maze

Natalya Maze is the founder of Maze Law Group, PLLC. Natalya is a native of Ukraine who has spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She began her legal career more than fifteen years ago as a paralegal in a small family law practice and as a commissioner’s assistant at the Regional Justice Center in Kent, Washington. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the Evergreen State College, Natalya worked as a Regional Immigration Specialist for a large staffing agency where she assisted Boeing and Microsoft contractors with employment-based visas.

While attending law school at Seattle University School of Law, Natalya continued to work full-time, gaining invaluable experience as a law clerk in the Torts Division of the Washington State Attorney General’s Office and later at a prominent Seattle insurance defense firm, where she was hired as an associate upon graduating law school with honors in 2010. During this time, Natalya had the opportunity to defend clients in matters involving general commercial litigation, professional liability, employment, construction, product liability, catastrophic injury, and asbestos litigation.

In 2011, Natalya transitioned her practice to a boutique Seattle defense firm where she represented owners, architects, engineers, designers, land surveyors and other members of the design and construction community in the defense of professional negligence, breach of contract, and other claims.

Four years prior to establishing Maze Law Group, PLLC, Natalya managed a heavy caseload at a large full-service downtown Seattle law firm representing plaintiffs and defendants from start to finish in a wide range of matters, including breach of contract, construction, real estate, product liability and employment cases. Natalya also counseled corporate clients and their employees regarding business immigration matters primarily involving I-9 compliance, TN, H-1B, L, E-1/E-2 and E-3 visas. From 2017 through the present, Natalya has earned the recognition of “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine, an award given to less than 2.5% of lawyers in the state.

Today, Natalya focuses her boutique practice on effective and efficient legal representation of a smaller number of valued clients. Natalya’s practice involves both transactional and litigation matters. She finds that her courtroom experience is valuable when advising clients on deals and contract terms. For every client, Natalya strives to provide counsel and representation derived from years of experience coupled with a practical understanding of business and commercial realities. A native of LVIV, Ukraine, Natalya is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian. In her spare time, she enjoys growing roses, singing, and traveling with her husband and two children.
